Mental & Emotional Health

Sport
All Hockey, Basketball and Netball uniforms are to be returned to the sports office. 
Students with money owing for selling chocolate bars are to return this to the sports office.

Junior School
If you are interested in playing Ki o Rahi please come to a meeting in the SMALL GYM at MORNING TEA today.
Students interested in playing in Rippa Rugby are invited to sign up at the Sports Office. The 4-week competition will be held at Naenae College starting Thursday 1st November, 4pm.

Sport
All Hockey, Basketball and Netball uniforms are to be returned to the sports office during morning tea or lunch.

Junior Volleyball competition starts today at 4pm. Boys are playing St Bernards at 4pm. Girls are playing at home at 4pm
Junior students interested in playing Ki o rahi at a one-day tournament are to attend a meeting on Friday at morning tea.

PASIFIKA POWER UP WEDNESDAY NIGHTS
If you would like to get some extra tutorials, exam support or help with your assessments, come to Pasifika Power Up on Wednesdays 5-7pm. Pasifika Power Up is open to all students, juniors and seniors.
Teachers and university student tutors are available to assist. You'll also get a free hot meal at the end of the evening.

GYMS CLOSED
Both gyms will be closed TODAY and until further notice. This is a reminder that no students should be hanging from the rims of the hoop. Any students caught doing so, the gyms will be closed for the remainder of the week. From the PE/Sport staff.

Training Monday and Wednesday in the small gym if wet outside. Game this Wednesday at St Bernard's 4pm we leave at 3pm. Also game this Saturday at Naenae.

SOFTBALL
*Any student interested in playing club softball this year, talk to Ms Shaw. The season starts in October. Grades are U15s and U18s, U18 games will be on played on Friday nights.

*Junior softball for Naenae College starting up in Term 4. There will be a weekly competition plus a one day tournament. We can have girls, boys or mixed teams. Watch this space. (Or if you want to sign up early, see Ms Shaw)

HOLIDAY PROGRAMME
Looking for an enthusiastic person to help at an holiday programme. This programme delivers a range of different activities to children between the ages of 5-14 years old. Activities we offer are Arts and Crafts, Sports, Baking, Science and day trips to pools, laser force, movies, ice skating etc. We have a very cool team of staff who are outgoing and very friendly. There are two positions during the school holidays which are rostered on between 7.30am and 5.30pm Monday to FrIday. There is also a possibility of after school care work during the school term You must be 16 years and older, not shy, kind and caring, love to joke around, use your initiative and love working with kids. 1 assistant position @our Stokes Valley Centre (Tui Glen School), Stokes Valley). 1 assistant position @ our Lower Hutt Centre (6 Market Grove, Lower Hutt).
