Pasifika Power Up Tutoring
Pasifika Power Up academic workshops and tutoring in the Library on Tuesday from 5-7pm. Meet in the hall before each session.
These workshops are available for students from all year levels. If you wish to get ahead in your last set of assessments, develop and strengthen your exam preparation skills, or need extra time to do homework with experienced teachers and university mentors, come on through! See Mr Tiria for more details.

H2O Xtream Aqua Beats
H2O Xtream has Aqua Beats coming up on Friday 25 August 2017. It is a youth night for all ages with games competitions and prizes It is going to be a fantastic night. Loren Marine Customer Services Officer Please see poster in the student centre.

Lunchtime Event 
Next Monday, August 21 lunchtime, there is a one off event not to be missed !!! It will include music, a blow up football field and a 'Play to Eat' sausage sizzle. All you have to do is head to the music, be prepared to be a part of the fun and earn a hot sausage. The event is going to be run by your mentors with help from ZEAL and the prefects!! Look forward to seeing you there.... One week to go....

Have you lost your earphones? If so, they are at the student centre. Please be able to describe them & colour.

Poly Club/Kapa Haka Meeting
If you were in Poly Club or Kapahaka this year, Mr Tiria would like to meet with you in the hall at lunch time to propose an idea about the upcoming prize giving in Term 4.
If you wanted to join Poly Club in 2018, or have joined Kapahaka for Term 3, come along too. Meeting in the hall at lunch on Tuesday Week 4.

Trades Academy Presentation
There is a presentation in the library on Wednesday for any Y11 students who wish to participate in the trades academy next year.
The Trades Academies are L2 courses in Construction, Engineering, Hospitality, Electrical, Creative etc that you will attend on Thursday/Friday at Weltec or Whitieria If you are interested, then come along

Junior Football Team Meeting
There will be a meeting at lunchtime today in Room 6 with Mr Johnson and Mrs Greenfield for all Junior Football Team members.

Missing phone. Samsung J36, black/blue with silver edging. Please return to Student Centre if you find it.

A black & blue nike bag was taken from the "Student Centre" containing A UE Speaker, PE Gear and Nike Shoes. The bag & all it's items needs to be returned ASAP.

Yesterday a "All Blacks" watch went missing. Its BLACK with some marks on the glass. Please return to the student centre ASAP.

Sport
Girls Rugby team circuit training is being held in the small gym after school from 3:30pm to 5pm.
Speedball competition - Students vs Teachers game will be held on Thursday 17th of August. Senior Students interested in playing can sign up at the sports office.

Kapahaka
If you want to be part of kapahaka then practices will be every Tuesday evenings in the Wharenui from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Nau mai haere mai.

NZQA FEES
The financial assistance form for NZQA fees is due on 1 September. This form will bring your NZQA fee from $76.70 down to $20. You can get the forms from your LAR or the front office. Get this form in to the office asap to gain the significant saving.

Lunchtime Sport In Gym
Do you want to get fit? Do you want to brush up on your rugby or soccer skills? come to the big gym at lunchtime Wednesdays, Thursday and Friday this week to participate in the session run by 3x Year 9s for their inquiry. Wednesday soccer. Thursday = Rugby and Friday - Obstacle course. All welcome.

Do you want some support to set and meet some well-being goals? Come to the marae on Friday lunchtime. We will start with some Mindfulness exercises and then discuss our individual goals for the term. Looking to meet each Friday at lunchtime so we can track our progress and celebrate our success!

First Aid Course
We have spaces available for any Y13 student who wishes to complete a First Aid course. Course runs over 2 days - 15/16 August See Mr Maclean to register your interest

Wednesday the 2nd of August we will be having a mufti day, $2 donation will go towards the Senior Formal. Thank you
All Year 12's and 13's please pay your formal committee by next Friday 4th August. If you bringing a partner from another school, please see Mr Floratos for approval.
