Junior Exam Sac's Students who are entitled to Special Assessment Conditions need to go to their exam room first to COLLECT THEIR EXAM and then go to ROOM 28. English Language Leaders Trip If you are a funded English Language Learner (most of you will have spent at least a little time in ESOL classes), you are invited to go on our end of year trip. A letter was sent home. Ask your whanau about it. Talk to older brothers or sisters who have left school for the year. If you want to come on the trip and there is no letter at home see a teacher in Room 7A NOW to pick up a permission slip with info about the trip. You MUST get this back to an ESOL teacher BEFORE Friday. Baseball Final training TODAY. Training will start at INTERVAL. Please be prompt. Softball Training Boys & Girls Softball training THURSDAY LUNCHTIME. See Ms Shaw if you cannot attend. Your one day tournament is next TUESDAY. |

If you want to extend and challenge yourself to gain the honours of Junior Scholarship recipient ask your subject teacher how you can get involved. We need your name by the 23rd of November. |

Naenae Kai Will now be closed on Mondays & Fridays until the end of Term. They will remain open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays Boys and Girls Softball Sign Up/Trials. If you are wanting to be considered for the one day tournament on Tuesday 27th November, you must see Ms Shaw or Aiden (team manager) to sign up. You must then attend a trial on Wednesday lunchtime. Please bring a glove if you have one, otherwise there will be spares available. Y10s involved in the Ignite Ontrack Academy on the Wednesday, there will be a trial Thursday lunchtime for you lot. Boys sign up/trials Boys Baseball trials, Friday lunchtime, for a one off game vs Nelson Boys High School being held on Thursday 22nd November. Pasifika Power Up Wednesday Nights Final week of Power Up, with two sessions on Wed and Thu, 5pm in the Library. Great work to everyone who has committed to Power Up over the last three terms. Start strong, finish strong! Library Got an overdue book - hand it to the Librarian this week and swap it for a lollipop. Remember we do not charge overdue fines - we just want the book back. A local organisation that works with migrant English Language Learners wants to know whether there would be support for a HW club that would cater for students across the whole of the Hutt Valley area. Spanish Bake Sale Hola, Naenae College, We are putting on a Day of the Dead / Halloween bake sale on Wednesday the 31st of October. It will be held outside the canteen kitchen at lunch time. Come along and help us fundraise for our proposed trip to Spain. There will be cookies, cakes and more. Bring your gold coins! |

NCEA Assembly Tuesday at LAR. All must attend. Sport All Hockey, Basketball and Netball uniforms are to be returned to the sports office. Students with money owing for chocolate bars are to return this to the sports office. Junior School Sport Ki o Rahi FINAL trial will be held TODAY at lunchtime. Students are to change into PE or training gear and meet on field 1. Students interested in playing Rippa Rugby are invited to sign up at the Sports Office. The 4-week competition will be held at Naenae College starting next Thursday 1st November, 4pm. Junior Touch practice will be held on Monday 3:15 pm to 4pm.
