Sport Notices
Badminton for Juniors starts on Tuesday next week and Wednesday for Seniors. Be sure to bring your friends and support your whanau. This will be held in the big gym at lunchtimes. See you all there

Softball
Any students interested in playing club softball this year, see Ms.Shaw or Denva (11TSN) :) Registrations are now happening. There are also posters up around the gym for the Saints and Cardinals clubs.

Student Leadership
Prefect and Mentor leadership applications are now open. Collect your application form from the Student Centre. Remember your application MUST be returned by Friday 18 September.

Cultural Student Exchange Programme
The Royal Thai Embassy is offering a "Thai/New Zealand Language and Cultural Student Exchange Programme 2016" for up to 7 students from Years 11 and 12 (in 2016). You will get to spend up to four weeks in Thailand from mid January 2016 and attending local schools. All travel provided by the Embassy. Applications close on Friday 9 October 2015. See Mrs Crowley for more information.

Army/Navy/Air Force Experience Days
The Defence Force are running two experience days at Trentham Army Camp in the holidays. If you are in Yr12 or 13 and would like to find out more about joining the Army, Navy or Airforce come and see Ms Burton in the Careers Office soon.

Hutt Mana Energy Scholarship
If your university study is going to involve engineering, architecture, building design or you are interested in energy matters such as conservation/ efficiency, you may like to put your 
name forward for this $1000 scholarship. See Ms Burton in the Careers Office for more information

Rotary Scholarships
Wellington North Rotary Club have money - $1000 to $5000 - available to help students pay for tertiary education. This can be university or poly tech. You must be able to show financial need. Get more info at the Careers Office - closes 16 Oct
