Football
All students including Junior boys, Girls yrs 9-13 and Senior boys interested in playing Football this year are to meet in Small Gym at lunchtime on Monday 16th February to register their expression of interest.
Pre-season football trainings will be held afterschool starting on Wednesday 18th. Jenn Feek (Football Convenor)

Sport Notices
Team meetings or practices today FRIDAY 13TH 
Ultimate Frisbee - Students interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee are invited to attend a meeting at lunchtime today in the small gym.
Softball - Practice is today at lunchtime with Mr Shaw and Mr Conroy.
Senior Volleyball - Boys and Girls teams are to collect their uniform at lunchtime today.
Lost Property - A pair of LA Gear white gym shoes were found in the gym. These can be collected at the sports office

Victoria University
Outreach programme is for any Year11 students who have the goal of attending university. Victoria University sends 2 lecturers to Naenae College one LA time a week to work with a group of motivated Year11 students teaching them new skills to help achieve NCEA level1. You will also learn how to get into university. If you would like to learn more about this programme and apply, come to an Information Meeting in the library at Tuesday 17/2 LA time - 11am. The programme lasts all year once a week.

Victoria Outreach Year 13
There is a meeting for all Year 13 students who would like to be involved in the Yr13 Victoria University Outreach programme this year. You MUST be doing a course in 2015 that allows you to achieve University Entrance. This means you can achieve all of NCEA level 3 [ 60 credits ] and are taking at least 3 approved subjects with achievement standards at level 3. You will have one meeting a week with Victoria Uni staff all year. Meet in the library at Wed 18/2 LA time.

Choir Sign-Ups
If you missed the choir sign-up day last week then come and see Mr Boyes in the Music office any time to get your name signed up.

Songwriting Competition
Have you ever written a song? The U-20 World Cup is looking for a song from a student in NZ, from any year group. For more details on how to enter see Mr Boyes. The winner receives a day in a professional recording studio, $250 of Rockshop vouchers, and their song released on a CD.

Debating
Debaters, where were you on Thursday?? Please make sure you come to the meeting NEXT Thursday, 19 February. It will be in room 7A, lunchtime. Anyone welcome, even if you haven't put your name down yet.

Homework Centre
Still looking for leaders for Homework Centre. If you want to be involved in this, see or get your name to Mrs Sellwood in Room 7A BY or BEFORE Wednesday 18 February.
