Maori Language Week
Some of you may be aware, this week (Monday 21st - Sunday 27th July) is Māori Language Week - Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori and in celebration of this, every day you will be given a new “Kōrero (or saying) of the Day” in your LAR class. This is so that students have an opportunity to win the amazing Maori language week prizes that are up for grabs - the top FIVE students throughout the school to demonstrate their willingness to use these sayings and/ or speak Māori will receive a prize for their efforts so BE ALERT!... you teachers will be watching! Give it go & keep it reo for Maori language week

Sport Notice's
There has already been 1 team default and player stand downs so far this week because of NO PAY NO PLAY! Sport fees (part or in full) must be paid before YOU take the court or Field this week. You have until morning tea on the day of competition to make a payment.
Rugby 1st XV your game on Saturday is Rongotai at 2:30pm
CSW Squash Tournament - Students interested can collect a permission from the Sports Office by the end of the day. It must be back tomorrow

Sport Teams - Meeting's This Week
Rugby - All players WEDNESDAY lunchtime
Senior Basketball - THURSDAY morning tea.
For all other teams, meetings will be held at team practices this week

Victoria University Course Planning 2015
All Year 13 students planning to attend Victoria University next year need to meet with staff from Victoria in the Library at LA time next Tues 29/7. They will help you choose your courses and show you how the application process works.It is very important that you attend.

Pulse Workshop's
There is an exciting 9 week workshop, completely free for Y9 and 10 students which will focus on music, movement and drama, and which will explore creative ideas from all kinds of traditions. If you are interested in these free workshops, see Mr Boye's or Mr Pegler for more information.

Massey Palmerston North Open Day  
Wednesday 6 August. They are providing a FREE bus. To get a seat booked you need to get an application form from the Careers Office and return it quickly. Students planning to study anything to do with Sport, Food Technology or Engineering should go and take a look

Gym - Lost Property
There is a 'mountain' of lost property in the PE office (where the PE teachers live :), eg Hoodies, jackets, shoes .....students have until next Friday to collect otherwise it will be going to the Salvation Army.

Victoria Outreach Friday
Year 13 Outreach Students meet with Fa'afoi in the whare kai today. All FRIDAY YEAR 11 students go to the usual rooms - the changes will start next week.

Maibiz Credit's
These students need to do some corrections to their Maibiz booklet to achieve the credits. Come to the Careers Office to complete your work - the deadline is Friday 1 August - Week 2.
