Sports NoticesJunior Basketball Tournament - Girls or Boys interested in a 1-day tournament at the ASB Centre, register at the sports office.
Girls Rugby League - There is a practice after school today
Junior Girls Volleyball - Trials for team 1 and 2 will be held on Tuesday after school in the big gym. The competition starts 16th October. 
Turbo Touch - A one day tournament is being held on 15th September. Cost is 25.00. Register today.
Rugby 7's - Senior Girls and Boys. Condor 7's is on the 25th October pre-tournament event will be held at Fraser Park extension on Sunday 22nd September. Register today.
Summer Sports RegistrationWellington Touch Academy - Invitation to girls and boys to attend this FREE workshop starting on Sunday 8th September at 12.30pm at Taita College.
Cricket - A level1 and level 2 umpiring course is being held at the end of September. There is no cost
Ki o rahi - 2 teams will be selected to represent the school at the annual ki o rahi tournament this year being held at Mana College. Cost is $10 (for bus hire)
Waka ama - Junior Waka ama 6-week program starts next month. The cost is $20 (incl.. training and regatta). If you are interested in any of the above then register at the sports office.
Basketball Registration - It has been a successful year for ALL our basketball teams. With that in mind, we would like to invite ALL students that played for the school basketball teams to come and celebrate our success by 'bringing it on the court'. We will mix you up into teams and 'just play'. Please make sure you have correct footwear... or its bare feet :) Ms.Shaw .......That's Friday lunchtime!!!
Rock Music Appreciation Hour - Mr. Logan needs to listen to more rock music so he'd like to invite anyone who is interested to listen to rock music with him in AT6 (the Graphics Room) on Tuesday at lunchtime. This week he'll be listening to early Queen, one of the heaviest bands of their time.
Year 13 Zonta AwardWellington and Mana Zonta Clubs invites year 13 students to apply for the Zonta International 2013 Young Women in Public Affairs Award. ($500) Please see Mrs Bowbyes if you are interested. The award recognises commitment to community service and achievement in voluntary leadership in senior pupils at secondary school who have the potential to become tomorrow's leaders. Applicants must be 16 to 19 years old on 1 April 2013. Living or studying in the Mana or Wellington region. This award recognises young women for: Active commitment to volunteerism. Experience in local or student government. Volunteer leadership achievements. Advocating in Zonta International's mission of advancing the status of woman world-wide.
