Sport - More Sport's On Offer
Social Basketball Grade - If you want to give basketball a go then come along and play in a novice competition being held at the school. Starts Wednesday 21st May and goes for 6 weeks 
Dodgeball League - Games are Friday night at Walter Nash between 6-8pm. Fees are $10.Students interested in playing in a 6 week competition starting 15th May are invited to register at the sports office.
Table Tennis - Games are Wednesdays 4pm. Fees are $10. Students interested in playing in a 6 week competition starting 21st May are invited to register at the sports office.
U15 Hurricanes Tournament - This tournament will be held during the 1st week of September. Boys interested in playing in this tournament are invited to register at the sports office.

General Sport's Offer
Senior B Girls Team - Your game vs Onslow is cancelled tonight. Team will now be playing in the Novice Grade that starts on a Wednesday 21st of May.
Smallbore Rifle Shooting Team - Meeting with all team members on FRIDAY at morning tea in the small gym.
Netball - Senior girls are to collect your uniforms FRIDAY at lunchtime. Check the team list which is on the noticeboard and sports office to confirm your team for this week, the time & venue of your game.
Sport Photos - Students who have ordered summer sport photos can collect them from the sports office.

Inter-Whanau Badminton
Next week, week 2, will be the start of the season Inter-Whanau Competition, which will be badminton. The competition will be based on year level. It will be doubles so two in a team, (must be from same whanau). Monday lunch is Year 9, Tuesday Year 10, Wednesday Year 11 and Thursday Year 12 and 13. Please be at the big gym at the start of lunch, as games will start promptly. Come along, have some fun and earn those points for your whanau.

Overdue Library Book's
Check your library books, if they are overdue return them as soon as possible - before letters go home to parents

Visit From Toi Whakaari
Staff and students from Toi Whakaari Performing Arts School will be visiting on Wednesday 14th May at lunchtime to talk about their Design and Entertainment Technology programmes, demonstrating some of their work and answering questions. Anyone interested in studying at Toi Whakaari or hearing more about it is welcome to the music department that lunch time.

Senior Choir Rehearsal's Important
As there are only four more weeks until we are performing at the Big Sing, we will be having three rehearsals a week from now on until our performance. These will take place on Monday lunchtime, Thursday period 1 (9:40am), and Thursday lunchtime. It is compulsory to be there for all in Senior Choir, if you do not attend you will not be able to perform in the Big Sing competition. See you all there!

Hairdressing Work Experience
If you are in Year 12 or 13 and think you would like to try out hairdressing work experience come and see Mrs Wilton or Ms Burton in the Careers Office.

Victoria Outreach Programme
Year 11 - There will be no programme on Wednesday this term. Both groups are going to meet on Friday. Today all of you need to come to the Library first.

Year 13 - This term there is no Wednesday group. Both groups will combine and meet together on Fridays in the whare kai at LA time. It starts today!
