Sport - More Sport's On Offer
Social Basketball Grade - If you want to give basketball a go then come along and play in a novice competition being held at the school. Starts Wednesday 21st May and goes for 6 weeks 
Dodgeball League - Games are Friday night at Walter Nash between 6-8pm. Fees are $10.Students interested in playing in a 6 week competition starting 15th May are invited to register at the sports office.
U15 Hurricanes Tournament - This tournament will be held during the 1st week of September. Boys interested in playing in this tournament are invited to register at the sports office.

Whanau Badminton Competition
Today's Year 9 comp. is postponed until NEXT Monday. All other year levels will played on their respective days this week. See noticeboards around the school to see what days those are.

General Sport Notice
Badminton - Junior teams competition starts this THURSDAY not Friday as outlined on the draw. Check the draw for venue and times
Sport Photos - Students who have ordered summer sport photos can collect them from the sports office.

Overdue Library Books
Check your library books, if they are overdue return them as soon as possible - before letters go home to parents

Visit From Toi Whakaari
Staff and students from Toi Whakaari Performing Arts School will be visiting on Wednesday 14th May at lunchtime to talk about their Design and Entertainment Technology programmes, demonstrating some of their work and answering questions. Anyone interested in studying at Toi Whakaari or hearing more about it is welcome to the music department that lunch time.

Performer's for NZ Music Month Concert
As there are only four more weeks until we are performing at the Big Sing, we will be having three rehearsals a week from now on until our performance. These will take place on Monday lunchtime, Thursday period 1 (9:40am), and Thursday lunchtime. It is compulsory to be there for all in Senior Choir, if you do not attend you will not be able to perform in the Big Sing competition. See you all there!

Whanau Badminton
Year 10 Whanau badminton competition tomorrow Tuesday at lunchtime in the big gym. Be there on time and prepared to play.

Performer's for NZ Music Month Concert
Would you like to perform next Thursday. Write your names on the NZ Music Month list on the Perf. Arts Office door. Come along to the meeting at interval today in M11. Dont be shy - concert run by students for students. SUPPORT NZ MUSIC

Basketball training for ALL junior boys and girls players TODAY (Monday) at lunchtime in the gyms. Be prompt and prepared to train. Please inform Ms.Shaw if anyone is away.
*Another reminder to those students not playing on Tuesday nights, there is a 'social' comp starting up next wednesday if you are still wanting to play. No trainings, no pressure, just rock up and play :) See Mrs.Manuel ASAP if you are interested.
Tomorow's (Tuesday 6th May) games are;
Boys Team 1 vs Rongotai College at Rongotai, 6.00 pm. Meet Aidan & Mr.Fuller at the gym at 5.00pm.
Boys Team 2 vs Hutt International at NNC, 5.00pm
Girls vs Wellington East at NNC, 6.30pm

Emergency Rescue Training
Year 12 and 13 students - if you would like a career as a fire fighter, emergency rescue, police, paramedic or are just interested in learning about civil defence rescue if the the big earthquake comes you may like to take part in a course next school holidays. You would spend a week learning these techniques at Trentham Racecourse. You would also earn yourself 18 level 2 credits. Come and see Ms Burton and Mrs Wilton in the Careers Office soon as we only have 8 places. The course is FREE for you.

Victoria Outreach Programme
Year 11 - There will be no programme on Wednesday this term. Both groups are going to meet on Friday. Today all of you need to come to the Library first.

Year 13 - This term there is no Wednesday group. Both groups will combine and meet together on Fridays in the whare kai at LA time. It starts today!
