Junior boys volleyball training session is being held after school today. New members are welcome
Sport council meeting is being held this Wednesday at lunchtime in the pavilion.
NO PAY NO PLAY means that students with unpaid sport fees will be stood down from competition. Fees were due 20th May.
The next Tai Chi will be held on Wednesday 31st August in the small gym. Students and staff are welcome to come along
Lost property including 3 jackets, school shoes and some uniform items are in the sports office. If you have lost any clothing items, come and check at the sports office during morning tea/lunchtime and after school.

Dance Fitness Program
Students that are interested in dance fitness program, are invited to attend a meeting on Monday 15th August at lunchtime. It will take about 15 minutes.

Homework Club
Need help with your English work? There will be a specialist English teacher at Homework Club every Wednesday to help juniors and seniors with English assessments or general homework.

Formal Dresses
Kia ora senior ladies. I have had another couple of dresses donated. Sizes 14/16. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks Kamaia

Year 9 LARS
As part of our inquiry to help the ones in need (homeless), we put cardboard boxes in each Year 9 LAR class. We would appreciate if you could bring in some tin food or any food. This food will be delivered to salvation army. Thank you very much for your kind donation Destini, Imajyn, Tyrell, Chuibet and Frankie

Naenae College Careers Expo
Next Tuesday evening, we will be having our careers expo in the assembly hall and subject selection, in the student canteen area. This is for all students of all year levels and their families. It will run from 6pm to 8pm. This is a great night with lots of careers information and give aways, available to help you choose the right subjects for next year. Make sure you tell your parents about it.

Scholarship Website
The givMe Scholarship web site is working now. You google givMe - note that it is case sensitive - and then click on log in. You can only do this at school. There are 1000's of scholarships to research but they all have deadlines. Good luck

Otago University Scholarships
The entrance scholarships close next week. Apparently there is a problem with their web site - if you are having difficulty sending your application, see Ms Burton for more information from Otago.

Hall Of Residence Applications
The university hall of residence applications are now on line and will close on 1 October. It is best to do this soon, as the school needs to send a confidential reference

Year 13 Otago University 2017
Otago liaison staff will be here next Monday 22 August in the library at 10.15, to help 2017 students apply, and choose their courses. It is important that you attend.
