BOT - Student Representative
Nominations are open for the election of one Student Representative for the 2016/2017 year. Nomination forms are available from the Principal's PA, Reception and Student Centre. Nominations close on Friday 2 September at 12 noon.

Sport
Seniors interested in playing Ki o rahi are invited to a meeting this FRIDAY at morning tea.
Junior Girls Volleyball trials are being held this WEDNESDAY after school. Girls interested in playing are invited to attend.
Netball dresses and basketball uniforms are to be returned to the sports office.

Saints Softball Club
Any 'Girls' interested in playing softball this season, read the notices around the gym. Saints are an AWESOME club, who endeavour to make it a fun and positive environment for all members. See Ms. Shaw if you want to know more, even if you never played before :) Pre season training's are coming up.

Tai Chi
Will be held on Wednesday, 31st August in the small gym. Students and staff are welcome to come along.

Scout & Guide Gang Show
The show "Capturing Time" is being held from the 19th to 24th September. Fun musical theatre for the whole family. There are five students performing in the show. Come along and show your support.

English Level 1 Re-Assessment
All students involved in the English 1.11 Close Viewing re-assessment go to R11 at LAR Monday to Friday.

Careers
Womens Defence Experience
Next school holidays 26 - 30 September the Defence Force - combination of Army, Airforce and Navy - are holding a FREE five days careers experience just for girls. It will be held at Linton Army Camp. See Ms Burton in the Careers Office for further information.

Free Hairdressing Course
Premier Hairdressing College have a FREE fulltime youth guarantee course starting soon - more details from the Careers Office.

Scholarship Website
The givMe Scholarship web site is working now. You google givMe - note that it is case sensitive - and then click on log in. You can only do this at school. There are 1000's of scholarships to research but they all have deadlines. Good luck

Hall Of Residence Applications
The university hall of residence applications are now on line and will close on 1 October. It is best to do this soon, as the school needs to send a confidential reference
