All students who wish to join Kapa haka please go to the Hall on Friday lunch time to REGISTER.

Junior Boys Touch training is being held TODAY at lunchtime. Meet Vinnie Snenior on the field at 12:50pm
Junior Girls 1 Touch training is being held after school today.
Junior Girls 2 Touch training is being held TUESDAY lunchtime.
A Triathlon Meeting is being held TUESDAY in the small gym. If you signed up for this event please come along.

Poly Club needs Leaders & Support Crew
Kia orana tatou! Poly Club is back for 2016 and we're looking for some cultural leaders and cultural helpers! If you have the skills to teach and lead a cultural dance, teach non-singers how to sing, and can uphold our TWT values in more ways than one... WE WANT YOU! We'll be meeting Wed lunchtime (2nd meeting) to go over our plans for the year, so if you wanna be part of the action, head along to R10 (Mr Tiria's room) to catch up.

TS Tamatoa​ - Sea Cadets
​​If you are between the ages of 13-15 and enjoy camping, tramping, aviation, target shooting, meeting new people and traveling to new places then come and see us at TS Tamatoa, 160 The Esplanade, Petone on Wednesday the 24th February at 6:30pm.

B.O.T. Student Representative
Nominations for a BOT Student Representative open on Thursday 18 February. Nomination forms can be collected from the Student Office. Nomination's will close at 12 noon on Friday 4 March 2016 and should be accompanied by a Candidate’s Statement.

Events on TODAY; for ALL year levels. Seniors who did not enter for these events last week, will not be allowed to compete today. ALL juniors wishing to compete in these events today, sign up at the event. Do not leave your gear in the changing rooms.
Lunchtime; Junior Boys & Girls (ALL LEVELS) HIGH JUMP, BOYS & GIRLS JAVELIN 

Tuesday LUNCHTIME training; Girls, NO TRAINING (due to the Long Jump event being held at lunchtime). All girls wanting to grab a glove and ball just to throw around, will need to see Ms.Shaw at the START of lunchtime. Boys training is still on. 

TODAY's (Wednesday) games;
Girls vs Sacred Heart, 4.30pm at Fraser 2. Meet at 4pm at Fraser.
Boys vs Taita at Fraser 3. Meet at 5pm at Fraser.

Victoria University Planning
Year 13 students planning to go to university next year i.e. doing at least three achievement standard subjects at level 3, are invited to come to the library next Tuesday 1 March, in LAR time. Victoria University Liaison team will talk about entry to any university in NZ, the degrees they offer and how to fund your study.

Defence Careers Experience
The Army, Navy and Air Force are combining to offer a 4 day recruiting experience for students interested in a career within the NZ Defence Force. All accommodation, travel and meals are free and it takes place in the next holidays - 18 - 22 April. If you are in Year 12 or 13 and seriously interested in joining one of the forces you should give this a try - Application forms available from the careers office.

Year 13 Victoria University Outreach 
Programme will start next Friday 4 March in the Library at LAR time. This is for Yr13 students who are taking a level 3 course that will allow them to achieve University Entrance this year. If you are not sure about this come and check your subjects in the Career Office with Ms Burton or Ms Greenstreet. You can be planning to attend any university or polytechnic, not just Victoria but you MUST be doing a course that allows you to achieve Uni Entrance. You will learn valuable study skills and strategies to help you achieve well this year and this course gives you the opportunity to apply for Outreach Scholarships.
