Waka ama - A coach is now confirmed for the school Wakaama team. Register at the sports office If you are interested 
Junior Girls Volleyball Trials are being held on WEDNESDAY from 3:30pm to 5pm.
Wellington Touch Trials for U13 to U17 grades are being held on Sunday September 13th from 1pm to 7pm at Fraser Park
Cardinals Softball Club invites new and existing members to register on Sunday 13th September 1:30pm at Fraser Park 3. Bring your glove & bat
Return winter sport uniforms including netball dresses; basketball tops and shorts; and any outstanding summer sport uniforms to the sports office this week

Student Leadership Applications
Prefect and Mentor leadership applications are now open. Collect your application form from the Student Centre. Remember your application MUST be returned by Friday 18 September.

Performing Arts Lunchtime
Reminder - there are several classes running in the Perf. ARts area at lunchtimes. Several groups of year 9 and 10 boys have been running along the passageway recently playing tag which has disrupted the teaching of these classes. It is also dangerous to musical equipment and disrespectful of other students using the area. Please respect the area and show Te Whanau Tahi by taking running games outside. Thank you.

Pasifika Powerup Powerstations
Warm Pacific Greetings! The Powerstations will be beginning next Monday, 14 September and will run for eight weeks. They will be held in the hall from 5pm to 7:30pm. The first four weeks are for both parents and students and then students only for the remainder of the sessions. Teachers will be available to help students with their learning and completing NCEA for the year.

Scholarship Applications
Many scholarships are due in 2 weeks - please make sure your referees have been asked and know the timeline.

Weltec Petone 
Open day next Thursday. A FREE bus will leave Naenae College at interval and return during lunchtime. Weltec has courses in Hairdressing, Engineering Trades, Animal care, Automotive, Building Trades - painting, plastering electrical, plumbing, tiling, bricklaying, Architectural technology, Design, Film and TV, Computing etc Some courses are free . Get a permission slip from the Careers Office. Meet in the Assembly Hall at the start of interval in Full school uniform. This trip is ONLY for students who do not have externals.
