Sport Notice
Sport Council Meeting is being held today in the Sports Pavilion. 
If you are interested in trialing for the Wellington Volleyball age grade teams U13, U15, U17 & U19 teams, then collect a registration form from the sports office. Forms are due in by the 12th June. 
Hutt Valley U13 Basketball Trials are being held this SUNDAY MAY 29TH at ST PATS (SILVERSTREAM) GYM from 10AM to 12PM. All players interested are invited to attend.
Socks can be purchased from the sports office for $10. Shorts can be ordered for $20.
Girls Rugby Team are playing at Ascot Park tomorrow. Girls are to bring $3 for the Van

Inter-Whanau Badminton Competition
Do you love playing Badminton? Do you like winning points for your whanau? Then wait no longer! In week 5 (next week) there will be an Inter-Whanau Badminton competition held at lunch in the Big Gym. This will be doubles so make sure you find a partner from your house to play with or you can be matched up on the day. Juniors will be competing Tuesday and Wednesday, Seniors will be on Thursday and Friday. I hope to see you all there to support and play for your whanau.

Multicultural Day Concert Auditions
It has been fantastic to see such a buzz coming from the performing arts and cultural clubs gearing up their rehearsals! We are welcoming all students to consider auditioning ideas to make this year's Multicultural day as epic as possible! The focus is promoting diversity within our school community and to celebrate our cultural heritage. Dance/Drama and Musical items will be by audition only. Ms Anderson, Mr Ferguson and Ms McCarthy will be running auditions Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes over the next two weeks. A sign up sheet will be put on M11's door to book your time. Musicians Dancers: Please bring any backing tracks/instruments required. Prepare as much of your item as possible but we will understand if you are just sharing part of your item.The evening concert is yet to be decided. If we can pull it together with top notch items we will be able to push for the evening concert to go ahead. This means it's all up to you guys! Lets bring it on home. Nga mihi, Ms McCarthy

Careers
Weltec Visit
Will be talking in the Library for the next two Tuesdays at LAR time for Year 12 and 13. 
Next week we have TRADES - Building, Electrician, Automotive, Painting, Bricklaying, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, Gasfitting, Roofing,Appliance and Electrical Serviceman etc. In the last week, Tues 7 June Creative Technology - Graphic Design, Animation. Photography, Film,, Hairdressing and Make up Artistry.

Life Guard Course
There is an opportunity for senior students to train as swimming pool lifeguards. You will have to commit to doing a weekend Lifeguard course and getting a First Aid Certificate. There will be a good chance of work experience and paid work over the summer holidays. See Ms Burton in the Careers Office if you are interested.

Massey University Visit
The Art Room next Tuesday 31 May at LAR time. This is mostly for Art and Design students but others interested in Massey courses should go along and get their questions answered

Youth Development Programme
This one day a week Gateway course is for people who want to work in Social Work, Counselling, Teaching or Youth Work. You will study at Level 3 and can earn 13 Level 3 credits. The course is held at Vibe in Upper Hutt from 4pm to 6 pm. We will pay your transport costs. Come and see Ms Burton in the Careers Office for more information

First Foundation Scholarship
Would these students see Ms Burton in the Careers Office please re First Foundation Scholarship -Daniel Collins, Ethan Munn, Eligh Arthur, Ben Cuisin, , Kayla Howard, Jaesda Kim, Analisa Manuel, Caleb Poihipi, Denva Shaw-Tait, ,Lars van Beusekom, Lucas Zhou. Please tell Ms Burton asap whether they are eligible to apply - this is urgent. We will be deciding who to put forward very soon.

GO2OU Award
Would these students see Ms Burton in the Careers Office re the above award if they are interested in finding out about studying Law, History, Geography, English, Philosophy, Theatre, Psychology and other Arts degree subjects at Otago next year.
