Student Foreign Exchange Programme
Lesley Adams, a Student Travel Schools representative, is coming in today and she will be available at lunchtime to talk to any students in Year 10 or higher, who may be interested in a foreign exchange programme. Could all Learning Advisors please read the following during LAR time today, Monday 10 March? Many thanks.

STS-Student Travel Schools-Foreign Exchange Programme
Have you ever wanted to live and study overseas? STS is a global organisation with more than 50 years experience in quality foreign exchange programmes for students aged 15-18. As an STS exchange student, you will share a different culture, maybe learn a new language and meet new friends from around the world. Applications open now for exciting and fun school exchange programmes in North and South America, Asia and Europe. You do not have to be studying a language to attend this meeting.
Come along to Room 14 at 1.20pm today to meet an STS Representative and find out more.

Netball
Junior and Senior students who want to play netball this year to meet in the small gym at lunchtime today.

Sport
HOCKEY - students intending on playing hockey this year, there will be training's held on the school field MONDAY and WEDNESDAY at lunchtime.
FOOTBALL - Preseason training's are being held each week starting on WEDNESDAY afterschool
DODGE BALL - A 1-day tournament will be held on Saturday 29th of March. Register at the sports office and collect an information sheet. 
SMALL BORE RIFLE CLUB - Players that have returned permission slips are to meet on WEDNESDAY at lunchtime in the small gym. Information on practice start date and driving roster will be handed out.
KI O RAHI - There are no games after school today.
Hutt Valley U17 Boys Basketball Team - the final trial is being held at St Pats College from 10am to 12pm this SATURDAY. Collect a information sheet from the sports office

City of Lower Hutt Cadet Unit
Looking for a new challenge in 2014? The Cadet Corps might be just what you're looking for. Camping , tramping, drill, target shooting, leadership and first aid are just some of the activities you get to try as part of our voluntary organisation. All this is done following the structures and traditions of the Army. Sound interesting? The City of Lower Hutt Cadet Unit are recruiting now with entry open to both boys and girls in years 9 or 10. Sport Fees
Sport fees are now due and can be made by automatic payment; money placed in an envelope and put in the drop box at the student centre OR handed into the Sports Office where a receipt will be issued. The date has been extended by 1 week. Teams may default from Monday 17th March if payment, or an arrangement to pay, has not been made.

Years 11/13 Victoria Outreach
Victoria Outreach Programme for Year11 and Year 13 students starts this week - Yr11 on Wed in the Library in LAR time and Yr13 in the Library Friday LAR time. Your LAR will have a list of students who are going to participate. Come and see Ms Burton in the Careers Office if there is a problem.
