Sport  - More Sport's On Offer
If you are interested in playing the following sports then register at the sports office: Cross Country,:North Island Road & Track Cycling Champs; U15 Hurricanes Tournament; Social Basketball that starts this WEDNESDAY.

Lost Wallet
A wallet was reported as lost yesterday. It was inadvertently left in the bus stop on High Street, just outside the school grounds. If found please return to the Student Center, thank you.

General Sport Notice's
Sport Photos - more photos have arrived from LC Scott. If you have ordered a photo please collect these from the sports office.
Badminton - Junior teams competition starts this THURSDAY not Friday as outlined on the draw. Check the draw for venue and times
Junior Netball players - It's not too late to join a team. If you are wanting to play but missed trials, see Mrs Manuel as there are teams that need players.

Spirit Of Adventure 
I have one place for a boy aged 15-18 to go on a 10 day sailing of the Spirit of Adventure. Please see Mrs Bowbyes urgently if you would be interested in going. The only cost would be transport to and from Auckland.

Official Senior Formal
Year 12 & 13 The Official Senior Formal will be held at Te Papa on 30th August. If you don't already have a permission slip, please come down to the canteen at lunch times. Chocolate boxes will also be available to cut down the ticket prices of $85.

Russell McVeagh Mentoring Programme
Our first meeting at Russell Mc Veagh's office in Wellington is on Tuesday. You must be prepared with your train fare to Wellington - Ms Burton can take 3 students in the car. There will be a meeting at the beginning of lunchtime on Monday in Room 30 for ALL students involved. The Russell MC Veagh list for 2014 is up on the Careers Office door. Please see Ms Burton if there are any problems or you want to come in the car.

First Aid Course
The last First Aid course of the year is next week - all day Tuesday and Wednesday, there are still a few vacancies. It is a really good certificate to have on your CV when you are applying for courses and jobs at the end of the year and is necessary for nursing, police, sports and useful for trades and army,navy etc. The following students have their names down - Vincent Goodman, Jack Morrisey, Matthew Algar, Josephine Misa, Jade Paki, Lateesha Vaauu, Edwena Vailalo,
Emma Cropp, Michael Ladd .See Ms Burton in the Careers Office now to secure a place.

Apprenticeship's In Digital Printing
There are 3 apprenticeships available in the printing industry - these are great opportunities if you are ready to leave school and want training in a growth industry. For two of the positions you need to have a bit of a creative flair, have good computer skills and be a quick learner. The third position requires someone with mechanical aptitude and physically fit to work in the Bindery section. See Ms Burton in the Careers Office for more information.
