A Samsung phone was found in the gym last week. If it belongs to you it can be collected from the sports office.
YR 12 Sports Leaders 
meeting is being held in the small gym at lunchtime today. A list of students is displayed at the sports office.
If you are interested in trialling for the Wellington Volleyball age grade teams, then collect a registration form from the sports office. Forms are due in by the 12th June. 
Socks can be purchased from the sports office for $10. Shorts can be ordered for $20.

You there! Yes you!! Do you want to play squash? Then come down and play squash. We will be going to Mitchell Park from 3.30-4.45 on a Tuesday. ALL are welcome to join! See Mr Pittams for details if you need. It's free. I have rackets and balls. Just come on down! SQUASH!

Inter-Whanau Badminton Competition
Do you love playing Badminton? Do you like winning points for your whanau? Then wait no longer! (this week) there will be an Inter-Whanau Badminton competition held at lunch in the Big Gym. This will be doubles so make sure you find a partner from your house to play with or you can be matched up on the day. Juniors will be competing Tuesday and Wednesday, Seniors will be on Thursday and Friday. I hope to see you all there to support and play for your whanau.

Multicultural Day Concert Auditions
It has been fantastic to see such a buzz coming from the performing arts and cultural clubs gearing up their rehearsals! We are welcoming all students to consider auditioning ideas to make this year's Multicultural day as epic as possible! The focus is promoting diversity within our school community and to celebrate our cultural heritage. Dance/Drama and Musical items will be by audition only. Ms Anderson, Mr Ferguson and Ms McCarthy will be running auditions Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes over the next two weeks. A sign up sheet will be put on M11's door to book your time. Musicians Dancers: Please bring any backing tracks/instruments required. Prepare as much of your item as possible but we will understand if you are just sharing part of your item. The evening concert is yet to be decided. If we can pull it together with top notch items we will be able to push for the evening concert to go ahead. This means its all up to you guys! 40 Hour Famine
A BIG thank you to all those who are participating in this years 40 Hour Famine. If you are interested in taking part and haven't received a booklet, or need another one, please see Joey in the library at lunchtime this week, or visit the student centre

Lifeguard Course
There is an opportunity for senior students to train as swimming pool lifeguards. You will have to commit to doing a weekend Lifeguard course and getting a First Aid Certificate. There will be a good chance of work experience and paid work over the summer holidays. See Ms Burton in the Careers Office if you are interested.

Massey University Visit
Will be in the Artroom next Tuesday 31 May at LAR time. This is mostly for Art and Design students but others interested in Massey courses should go along and get their questions answered

Weltec 5 Day Course Term 2
Weltec have some 5 day courses coming up this term in Bricklaying and Landscaping, Painting Houses, and Hairdressing. They are all in Petone and you will have the opportunity to achieve some level 2 credits and gain new skills - also to test out a potential career. Please see Ms Burton in the Careers Office to put your name down

Weltec Visits
Weltec will be talking in the Library for the next two Tuesdays at LAR time for Year 12 and 13. 
This week - tomorrow - we have TRADES - Building, Electrician, Automotive, Painting, Bricklaying, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, Gasfitting, Roofing,Appliance and Electrical Serviceman etc. In the last week, Tues 7 June Creative Technology - Graphic Design, Animation. Photography, Film,, Hairdressing and Make up Artistry.
