Diplomacy Competition
Interested in diplomacy? An opportunity for teams of four to take part in a United Nations Diplomacy Competition during March. See Mr Laing in room 12 at interval or lunch if you are interested. Can all students who have shown interest see Mr Laing at lunch please?

Team lists are now displayed in the Sports Office. Those who trailed please check at Interval today as meetings are scheduled for those named today and tomorrow.
Junior Boys meet at the beginning of Lunch today (Wednesday) in Room 3. Senior Boys 1 and 2 meet at Interval tomorrow (Thursday) in Room 3. Thanks RY

Writing Mentor
If you are 15 years old and passionate about writing then you can apply to the NZSA Youth Mentorship Programme 2015, which offers 12 and a half hours of mentoring from one of New Zealand’s best professional authors in order to develop their craft and hone their skills. See Mr Laing in room 12 at interval or lunch if you are interested.

Writing Competition
Win $1000 in the 2015 Liam and Frankie Davison Award by writing about an issue concerning women’s health; can be fiction or non-fiction. You must be in your final 3 years of school to apply. See Mr Laing in room 12 at interval or lunch if you are interested.

Victoria University
Outreach programme is for any Year11 students who have the goal of attending university. Victoria University send 2 lecturers to Naenae College one LA time a week to work with a group of motivated Year11 students teaching them new skills to help achieve NCEA level1. You will also learn how to get into university. If you would like to learn more about this programme and apply come to an Information Meeting in the library at Tuesday LA time - 11am. The prgramme lasts all year once a week.

Choir Sign-Ups
If you missed the choir sign-up day last week then come and see Mr Boyes in the Music office any time to get your name signed up.

Songwriting Competition
Have you ever written a song? The U-20 World Cup is looking for a song from a student in NZ, from any year group. For more details on how to enter see Mr Boyes. The winner receives a day in a professional recording studio, $250 of Rockshop vouchers, and their song released on a CD.
