LOST PROPERTY
The lost property box is growing. There are shoes, skirts, PE tops, Jerseys and other items. Some are brand new.  If you have lost any of these items check at the sports office at morning tea or lunchtime

SPORT MORE SPORT'S ON OFFER
North Island Road & Track Cycling Champs - Individual or team pursuit entries. If you are interested in competing in these events then register at the sports office.
Social Basketball Grade - If you want to give basketball a go then come along and play in a novice competition being held at the school. Starts Wednesday 21st May and goes for 6 weeks 
Dodgeball League - Games are Friday night at Walter Nash between 6-8pm. Fees are $10. Students interested in playing in a 6 week competition starting 15th May are invited to register at the sports office.
U15 Hurricanes Tournament - This tournament will be held during the 1st week of September. Boys interested in playing in this tournament are invited to register at the sports office.

MULTICULTURAL CONCERT - PERFORMERS
Could all students wanting to perform in the Multicultural Concert at the end of this term, please come to an important meeting in M14 Thursday at the start of lunchtime. This is for groups who have auditioned, and those who haven't auditioned but are keen to be a part of the concert. Includes students involved in Poly group. Mr Ferguson and Ms Anderson will be taking down details and organizing a rehearsal schedule. Thanks!

GENERAL SPORT NOTICES'S
Sport Photos - more photos have arrived from LC Scott. If you have ordered a photo please collect these from the sports office.
Rugby U65's - Players that have not weighed-in MUST DO SO on THURSDAY to play this Saturday. Weigh-ins will be held at morning tea in the small gym. 
Badminton - Junior teams competition starts this THURSDAY not Friday as outlined on the draw. Check the draw for venue and times
Junior Netball players - Its not too late to join a team. If you are wanting to play but missed trials, see Mrs Manuel as there are teams that need players.

OVERDUE LIBRARY BOOKS
Check your library books, if they are overdue return them as soon as possible - before letters go home to parents

Someone accidentally returned a book to the library called" The Coolest cross-sections ever". If it is yours can you please call into the library to collect

SENIOR CHOIR REHEARSAL'S IMPORTANT
As there are only four more weeks until we are performing at the Big Sing, we will be having three rehearsals a week from now on until our performance. These will take place on Monday lunchtime, Thursday period 1 (9:40am), and Thursday lunchtime. It is compulsory to be there for all in Senior Choir, if you do not attend you will not be able to perform in the Big Sing competition. See you all there!

FUTURE PROBLEM SOLVER'S
A reminder for all those FUTURE PROBLEM SOLVERS can you please get your permission slips to Ms Harman. We really need to kick off the year! Thank you.

PERFORMER'S FOR NZ MUSIC MONTH CONCERT
Would you like to perform next Thursday. Write your names on the NZ Music Month list on the Performing. Arts Office door. Come along to the meeting at interval today in M11. Don't be shy - concert run by students for students. SUPPORT NZ MUSIC

UNDER 65 RUGBY
Rugby practice this Thursday at 3.30pm. Only players that turn up at practice will be considered for the game on Saturday at 10 am here at the Naenae No.1 field.

MUFTI DAY
This Friday we will have a mufti day, that will cost a minimum of $2. We are fund-raising for 40 Hour Famine and all proceeds go to Malawi.

EMERGENCY RESCUE TRAINING
Year 12 and 13 students - if you would like a career as a fire fighter, emergency rescue, police, nurse, paramedic, outdoor education or are just interested in learning about civil defence and rescue if the the big earthquake comes you may like to take part in a course next school holidays. You would spend a week learning these techniques at Trentham Racecourse. You would also earn yourself 18 level 2 credits. Come and see Ms Burton and Mrs Wilton in the Careers Office soon as we only have 8 places. The course is FREE for you.

OTAGO UNIVERSITY VISIT
Otago University from Dunedin will be in the Library on Monday LA time to talk about the courses they offer. If you love science and are interested in being a doctor, dentist , laboratory scientist, physiotherapist, surveyor, pharmacist, bio-medical scientist, marine biologist, food scientist you need to attend. They also offer all the other degrees.
