Sport Notice
Senior Girls Volleyball Open training is being held THURSDAY afterschool 
Junior Girls Volleyball Open training is being held THURSDAY morning 8:30am. All junior girls intending on playing volleyball in term 4 are invited to attend.
There is a meeting for the girls from J3 junior netball team at lunchtime TODAY 
Team captains are to return sports gear including badminton rackets; shuttles; netballs, bibs & bags to the sports office this week
YR 13 Rugby players are invited to a meeting with Mila Poutoa, Hutt Old Boys next Friday 22nd at lunchtime in the small gym.

Christian Group

Toi Whakaari
Applications for Toi Whakaari acting programme close August 22nd. They have an open day on 29th August from 9:30am-4:30pm. See Mr Boyes for more details.

B.O.T. Student Representative Election 2014
Student Representative Election for Board of Trustees 2014. Nominations are invited for the election of one student representative to the Board of Trustees. Nomination forms can be obtained from the School Office or Student Centre. Nominations close at 12 noon on Thursday 28 August 2014

PS Whanau Competition
Next week (week 6) will be the start of the next whanau competition. It will be happening at lunchtime in the hal.l Monday and Tuesday is Juniors. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday is Seniors. The game is Tekken so come along, have some fun and earn points for your whanau.

Careers Expo & Subject Selection Night
ALL students and their families are invited to come to the Careers Expo next Tuesday 6pm to 8pm in the Assembly Hall. This has been organised so you all can get careers information to help you choose the right subjects for next year. Also it is particularly important for Year13 students as providers of most tertiary courses in Wellington and Lower Hutt will be here to help you decide where to go next year. Whatever you are interested in - Tourism, Chef, film making, web design, police, navy, Maori performing arts, sport, fashion design, farming - come and find out what subjects you need to study at school to be successful.

Victoria & Massey Open Days 
Victoria and Massey Universities, Weltec Wgtn [ Wgtn courses only] , NZ Career College - Early Childhood Education, Yoobee - Animation, Graphic and Web Design etc, and Whitireia Polytech[ Wgtn] - Performing Arts Centre, Film School and Computer Power Plus have their Open Days on Friday 29 Aug. We have a free bus going to Victoria at 8.45am. From there you will be able to catch another free bus to Massey. The trip is open to students studying courses that will give them University Entrance or show a keen interest in these areas.. Please come to the Careers Office to get a permission slip asap as seats are limited.
