Maori Language Week
Some of you may be aware, this week (Monday 21st - Sunday 27th July) is Māori Language Week - Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori and in celebration of this, every day you will be given a new “Kōrero (or saying) of the Day” in your LAR class. This is so that students have an opportunity to win the amazing Maori language week prizes that are up for grabs - the top FIVE students throughout the school to demonstrate their willingness to use these sayings and/ or speak Māori will receive a prize for their efforts so BE ALERT!... you teachers will be watching! Give it go & keep it reo for Maori language week

Sport Notice's
NO PAY NO PLAY starts week for all teams. Sport fees (part or in full) must be paid before YOU take the court or Field this week. You have until morning tea on the day of competition to make a payment.

Rugby 1st XV your game on Saturday is Rongotai at 2:30pm
Waterpolo starts this Wednesday. Game is 8:15pm vs HIBS
CSW Squash Tournament - There will be a meeting on WEDNESDAY at morning tea in the big gym for players interested in this competition.

Te Whanau Tahi Kapa Haka Dress Rehearsal
Tena tatou! In preparation for the National Secondary School’s Kapa Haka Competition that is being held in week 2 of this term in Gisborne, the Naenae College Kapa haka (Te Whanau Tahi) would like invite you all to their dress rehearsal being held in the Naenae College hall, this Wednesday 23rd July. Doors open at 6pm - gold coin entry - please be seated by 6.25pm. Te Whanau Tahi Tshirts will also be on sale - $20 for adult sizes & $15 for children’s size. Mauri ora!

Junior Badminton - WEDNESDAY morning tea.
Rugby - All players WEDNESDAY lunchtime
Senior Basketball - THURSDAY morning tea.
For all other teams, meetings will be held at team practices this week

Victoria University Course Planning 2015
All Year 13 students planning to attend Victoria University next year need to meet with staff from Victoria in the Library at LA time next Tues 29/7. They will help you choose your courses and show you how the application process works.It is very important that you attend.

Senior Formal
PLEASE, we need permission slips back ASAP and payments need to be made towards the $85 ticket. Remember chocolate boxes can still be sold to fund raise for tickets, please see Jordana.

Victoria Outreach Programme
There are some changes for the Yr11 Victoria University Outreach programme this term. Ihaka's small Friday group will change to Wednesday and still meet in the Meeting Room by the Assembly Hall . This starts this Wednesday - 23/7 WEEK 1

Maibiz Credit's
These students need to do some corrections to their Maibiz booklet to achieve the credits. Come to the Careers Office to complete your work - the deadline is Friday 1 August - Week 2.

Massey Palmerston North Open Day 
Wednesday 6th August. They are providing a FREE bus. To get a seat booked you need to get an application form from the Careers Office and return it quickly. Students planning to study anything to do with Sport, Food Technology or Engineering should go and take a look
