Thought of the Day
"A new study has found that listening to heavy metal actually has a calming influence. Although the lyrical content of extreme music often deals in anger, researchers found that it instead enhanced listeners’ positivity and regulated sadness. Although some believe that loud music is linked to aggressive behaviour, the new research by The University of Queensland’s School of Psychology honours student Leah Sharman and Dr Genevieve Dingle showed listeners mostly became inspired and calmed by heavy metal."http://www.unilad.co.uk/articles/listening-to-extreme-music-reduces-violence-and-makes-you-feel-more-positive-study-finds/
