Girl's Basketball
Every Monday lunchtime, any girl's interested in preparing for the basketball season starting Term 2 can join LO in the Small Gym to begin lay up and shooting drills. This primarily a Senior Girls pre-season warmup, but junior girls are welcome to join in. If NNC is gonna get into Prem Division, we need to start preparing! (See LO for details)

Junior Boy's Touch
Junior Boys Touch Trials are being held on Wednesday 25th. The division 1 team will be selected from this trial. You must turn up to be considered. The competition starts next week.

Future Problem Solvers
All students interested in participating in Future Problem Solving in 2015. Please come and see Miss Harman at the beginning of lunch today in L1 or get your LAR teacher to KAMAR your name to HN.

All year levels welcome. Come and think outside the box, be fluid, flexible in your thinking and have fun!

Futsal 
Meeting for ALL JUNIOR FUTSAL PLAYERS at 1.20 (lunchtime) today, in the small gym. 
Pre-season football training is straight after school on the field. All students who wish to play Football this year are advised to attend training.

Speech Competition
Any students who are interested in the Lions Clubs Speech maker Competition and who will be 16 years of age or older see Mr Laing in room 12 at lunch time for competition details.

Breakfast Club 
Is now up and running. Feel free to come along, there is no cost. Monday, Wednesday & Friday 8.00am to 8.30am Thursday 8.30am to 9.00am

Junior Choir 
THURSDAY PERIOD ONE (9:40am), meeting in the hall this coming week. See you all there.

Athletics
Our school Athletics will be starting this week, likely to be Thursday. We are trying a different format this year where students will need to sign up for a/their event BUT most events will be held before school, during lunchtime and after school. There may be the odd period four where we hold an event. Please keep an eye out for registrations, you will not be able to sign up on the day!!!

STUDENT ID
2014/15 STUDENT ID CARDS WILL EXPIRE 31.3.15. Students wanting to purchase an ID card for this year 2015 please deposit $8 into the drop box in the student centre

PROCEDURE: PLEASE PLACE $8 INTO AN ENVELOPE AND WRITE ID CARD, YOUR NAME, AND FORM CLASS. CORRECT MONEY PLEASE AS NO CHANGE WILL BE GIVEN.

Butchery Work Experience Available
Come and see Ms Burton in the Careers Office if you would like to see what it is like to be a butcher - we have a position available,

Bank Teller Work Experience
If you would like work experience in a bank see Ms Burton in the Careers Office. You need to be well presented, enthusiastic and interested in helping your customers.

Year 11 - your first meeting is this Wednesday at LA time in the Library. If you would like to join up and did not attend last week please come along.

Victoria Outreach Programme
The Yr13 Victoria Outreach programme will start this Friday at LA time in the Library. If you missed the information meeting you can still come along on Friday. Remember the only criteria is that you must be doing at least 3 APPROVED subjects

MAI BIZ 
Next week - ALL DAY WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY and FRIDAY. We will put up a list of the 80 students on the Library door and windows on Thursday so please check it out. See Ms Burton or Mrs Wilton in the Careers Office if we have forgotten you - there are still places. Remember you can achieve 3 level 2 credits and the certificate and experience are valuable if you want to apply for scholarships in Year 13.

Mai Biz is next week - Wednesday to Friday. If you missed out last year in Year12 and would like to take part this year see Ms Burton in the Careers Office. Remember the certificate looks good in your CV.
