Winter Sport competition resumes this week please check the draw at the sports office
If you are interested in competing in the one-day squash tournament please collect a notice from the sports office. 
Find out how Tai Chi improves strength and fitness, different from other forms of exercise. Lunch time introduction NOW on Wednesday 3rd of August NOT tomorrow. Valuable for sports players. Suitable for non sports people. All students and staff invited.
Lost property including 3 Jackets, school shoes and some uniform items are in the sports office. If you have lost any clothing items come and check at the sports office during morning tea and lunchtime.

Sport Ambassador Programme
Yr11 Sports ambassador's program is being held this Friday, meet 9 am at the sports office. Wear casual clothes and bring your lunch & a drink bottle

1ST XV Rugby
Can all 1st XV boys please come to the hall at 12.30 today. Thank you

NNC Formal
Year 12's and 13's who are planning on attending formal, please get your $85 and permission slips into Linda and James, who will be in the library at lunchtimes. Thank you

Kia Ora Senior Ladies
I have 5 formal dresses donated. They are all small sizes 6-8. If you want to come and check them out, please flick me an email or come and see me. They will be free of charge. Thanks Kamaia

P's and A's 
P's and A's card game tournament will start in week 3. Sign up sheets will be coming around during LAR time in week 2. Juniors Tuesday lunchtime, seniors Wednesday lunchtime.

Thai/NZ Cultural Exchange
Year 11 and 12 students have the opportunity to apply for a FREE 4 week trips to Thailand in January next year. The application form is available from the careers office. Final date to apply is end of September

Barista/Coffee Making Course
We have an opportunity for 6 students to train as baristas / coffee makers over this term. You will have to commit to going to Weltec in Wellington for 6 Tuesdays. Please check your Tuesday timetable, and ask your subject teachers if you can miss this much time. You can earn level 2 and 3 credits. See Mrs Wilton in the careers office if you are interested.

She Trust Scholarship
This scholarship is for girls in the Hutt Valley, planning to got to university or polytechnic next year. Naenae College girls usually get several of these. Application forms can be collected from the careers office

Lifeguard Course
There will be a meeting this week for everyone who applied for training after school at Naenae Pool. We do not know what day yet, so make sure you read the notices each day. You will have to bring your swim suit .
