Senior Girls Volleyball Open training is being held THURSDAY after school 
Junior Girls Volleyball Open training is being held MONDAY after school and THURSDAY morning 8:30am. All junior girls intending on playing volleyball in term 4 are invited to attend.
Team captains are to return sports gear including badminton rackets; shuttles; netballs, bibs & bags to the sports office this week

Student Leadership Team 2015
Do you want to develop your leadership skills and potential. Student leadership application forms for 2015 are now available from the front office.

Year 10 E.O.T.C.
Congratulations to those who got their choices in for EOTC (and who ranked them rather than ticked them). We need more choices forms into the Student Centre. Copies available from the Student Centre if you did not get one or it is lost. Letters have been sent home. A greater response is needed. See Mr Carew if you have any questions. Trips will soon be posted up in the library. You will be able to see of you have got your first selection.

Victoria University Research Project 
Memory, Thinking and Well Being
Any students interested in participating in a research project about memory, thinking and wellbeing please see Ms Renata at her office to pick up a consent form. There will be a short survey to complete in a LAR time towards the end of the term. You will need to have a consent form completed by your parents/caregivers to participate.

English Essay Writing Workshops
The English Dept is running special essay writing workshops for any student sitting external exams. The workshops will run during lunchtimes on a Wednesday and Thursday from this week (20th August) up until the practice exams. We're offering separate workshops for Year 11, 12 and 13. Year 11 Thursday in R11, Year 12 Wednesday in R12 and Year 13 Wednesday in R9. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your essay writing skills. See you there.

Russell McVeagh Mentoring
Russell McVeagh is on again next Tuesday - 2 Sept - in Wellington. Please let Ms Burton Know THIS WEEK if you can't attend or want a ride into Wellington

Victoria & Massey Open Days
Victoria and Massey Universities, Weltec Wgtn [ Wgtn courses only] , NZ Career College - Early Childhood Education, Yoobee - Animation, Graphic and Web Design etc, and Whitireia Polytech[ Wgtn] - Performing Arts Centre, Film School and Computer Power Plus have their Open Days on Friday 29 Aug. We have a free bus going to Victoria at 8.45am. From there you will be able to catch another free bus to Massey. The trip is open to students studying courses that will give them University Entrance or show a keen interest in these areas.. Please come to the Careers Office to get a permission slip asap as seats are limited.

Lost Pencil Case
A Black pencil case with CP clearly written in white on the outside went missing on Friday either in Room 29 or in south corridor or in car park. If found or whereabouts known please return to Mrs Coup in Room 29.

Junior Girls Basketball Prems
End of Season get together next Tuesday (Sept 2nd) at 4.00 in SNU.
