Schools Christian Group this Thursday Lunchtime Room AT7 . If you are interested in Christian things and what it means to work out your faith in a school situation, come along. Gospel of John continued. Amazing book! Everyone welcome. See Mr Logan or Mr Carew for more info.

Sport More Sports On Offer
Social Basketball Grade - If you want to give basketball a go then come along and play in a novice competition being held at the school. Starts Wednesday 21st May and goes for 6 weeks 
Dodgeball League - Games are Friday night at Walter Nash between 6-8pm. Fees are $10.Students interested in playing in a 6 week competition starting 15th May are invited to register at the sports office.
Table Tennis - Games are Wednesdays 4pm. Fees are $10. Students interested in playing in a 6 week competition starting 21st May are invited to register at the sports office.
U15 Hurricanes Tournament - This tournament will be held during the 1st week of September. Boys interested in playing in this tournament are invited to register at the sports office.

Under 65 Rugby
There is a meeting in room 26 at the start of lunch today, 7 May. It will only take 5 min. We need to put a team together to play against Wainuiomata on Saturday, so be there please!

Whanau Competition 
The first whanau competition for the year is four way volleyball. It will be held during week 10 lunch times out on the field Monday's and Tuesday's are for juniors. Wednesday and Thursday are for seniors. We encourage you to wear your whanau shirts to support your whanau.

General Sport Notice
Girls Rugby - Practice after school today with Scott Waldrom. 
Smallbore Rifle Shooting Team - Meeting with all team members on FRIDAY at morning tea in the small gym.
Netball - Senior girls are to collect your uniforms on FRIDAY at lunchtime are to check the team list which is on the noticeboard and sports office to confirm your team for this week, the time & venue of your game.
Sport Photos - Students who have ordered summer sport photos can collect them from the sports office.

Homework Centre 
Starting up again this week - Wednesday. It's not too late to pick up a contract form and join the students working for success.

Inter-Whanau Badminton
Next week, week 2, will be the start of the season Inter-Whanau Competition, which will be badminton. The competition will be based on year level. It will be doubles so two in a team, (must be from same whanau). Monday lunch is Year 9, Tuesday Year 10, Wednesday Year 11 and Thursday Year 12 and 13. Please be at the big gym at the start of lunch, as games will start promptly. Come along, have some fun and earn those points for your whanau.

Year 12/13 English Scholarship
Cancelled this Thursday morning as Mr Floratos is away from school. We will continue next week with 'Miss Brill', remember to apply a feminist lens to the text before next Thursday.

Hairdressing Work Experience
If you are in Year 12 or 13 and think you would like to try out hairdressing work experience come and see Mrs Wilton or Ms Burton in the Careers Office.
