Coming up in Term 3

Year 9 Inquiry Expo Information 

Thursday 17 August 9.30am

Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 are not required at school until interval (11.00am) 

Period 2 & 3 classes will run at their usual timetabled time.


Year 9 students will start school at 8.45am

They should go directly to their usual Period 1 classroom to meet with their core teachers.

Year 9 parents and caregivers are warmly invited to attend the Year 9 Inquiry Expo where Year 9 inquiry projects will be shared, presented and certificates awarded. This event is a celebration of the work that Year 9 students have completed during the 3-week inquiry process that began at the start of Term 3.

Year 9 arrive and go to their inquiry room to collect displays, presentation equipment and resources. Hall setup for presentations and displays if necessary

Welcome by Principal.

·         All Year 9 and whanau seated in the Hall.

·         Parents and caregivers seated


9.15am – 10.45am

Selected presentations from Inquiry groups and presentation of student certificates.


10.45am – 11am

Walkabout time for parents and students to see displays and presentations from other groups



Expo. concludes and refreshments available at the School Kitchen

Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 arrive for period 2



Period 2 as timetabled - all year levels in class

Year 9 to complete the Inquiry Evaluation on a Google form






Period 3 as timetabled



School ends.
